Somatic Therapy & Integration for Trauma Healing
Integrating body, mind, and parts work to support deep trauma resolution and nervous system regulation.
What is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic therapy is a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the body as a key repository of experience and memory.
Trauma often gets “stuck” in the nervous system, creating patterns of tension, hypervigilance, or emotional reactivity.
Through somatic awareness, movement, breath, and mindfulness, therapy can release these patterns, helping the body and mind reconnect and restore balance.
In my practice, somatic therapy goes beyond talk therapy — it helps you feel safe in your own body, access internal resources, and integrate experiences that were previously overwhelming or inaccessible.

Integration of Somatic Work with EMDR & Parts Work
I blend somatic therapy with EMDR and ego state / parts work for a comprehensive, integrative healing approach:
EMDR: Reprocesses traumatic memories and regulates the nervous system.
Somatic Awareness: Helps you feel grounded, present, and safe in your body.
Parts Work / Ego States: Identifies protective parts, releases trauma, and restores internal cohesion.
Together, these approaches create a holistic pathway that addresses trauma cognitively, emotionally, and physically — supporting lasting integration and healing.
